New treatment centre for disabled children

Global Giving Gateway challenge ends tomorrow 19th Dec 2016.

We would like to say thank you to all those who have made a donation. You have helped us reach our goal to furnish and finish a new centre to treat disabled children in Cameroon and we’re delighted and amazed by the generosity shown to us. There is just one more day left for our appeal and although we have so far done really well to raise £4800, we still need the last £400 to reach our goal. If 40 people gave us £10, we can make it!

As our project would stop taking donations once we hit our target, we extended it to include some extra equipment for Alfred Wingo, the physiotherapist overseeing the treatment programme at GLORES, in Bafoussam.

This includes:
£576 work table, office furniture, chairs, treatment beds, curtains.
£161 camera with facility for video
£100 smart phone

It’s Alfred’s birthday on the 29th December and your help already means we can give him the most fitting present. But we’d also like to also kit him out with a few items to help him report on his work back to us and locally in his community – to show the transformation treatment brings.

We are really excited this project has finally come together. It has hit a few obstacles, but turned the corners and now evolved into a ground-breaking opportunity for us to involve you in our achievements! It has been a huge learning curve for us and very rewarding to see the interest and feel the support for our work.

We would love to reach our final goal so please share our project page again with your friends and family and show them all what you’ve already helped to make happen.
